Tour Details

On this 8 days tour we will visit area unique in many ways, located in the south of the Adriatic is nowhere else that you can find in such a little country. You can find a great extent natural wealth, beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains.

 

ITINERARY


Day 1 Montenegro (Breakfast/Dinner)

Departure after breakfast through picturesque mountains towards the Bay of

Kotor and you then have a guided tour to the city of Kotor and its surrounding

territory in the Republic of Montenegro.

Stop for lunch in Trebinje and free time to scroll around.

In the middle ages, this natural harbor on the Adriatic coast in Montenegro was an important artistic and commercial center with its own famous schools of masonry and iconography. The 1979 earthquake seriously damaged a large number of the monuments (including four Romanesque churches and the town walls) but the town has been restored largely with UNESCO's help. Continue towards the city and stroll around in Budva, (the ancient town, which is today a lively tourist resort.)

Day 2 Montenegro sightseeing all day (Breakfast/Dinner)

Itinerary – Perast – Kotor - Old Royal Montenegro – Budva

Breakfast at the hotel.

Meeting with the guide at the hotel and drive along the bay. Stop at Perast

for short sightseeing. Continuing to Kotor. In Kotor we will visit:

  • Clock Tower
  • Flour Square with Pima and Buca palaces
  • St Tryphon Cathedral with short guided tour of the Cathedral
  • The Bokelian Navy Square with Karampana
  • The St Luke Square with St Luke and St Nikola churches
  • St Mary of the River (the blessed Ozana)
  • Northern Gate with Skurda river

From Kotor we will continue to Budva, take a short city tour through the old town.

In Budva we will visit following :

  • City Walls
  • The square of Poets
  • Clock Tower
  • The Square of Old City Churches
  • St Trinity Church
  • City Harbor
  • Open air stage

After the sightseeing of Budva we head towards Saint Stefan region. You will walk from Przno to Saint Stefan Island through the parks and forests, experience magnificent views and see kings beach and the Island of Saint Stefan.

Day 3 Budva, Montenegro - Dubrovnik, Croatia (Breakfast)

9 Departure from Montenegro to Dubrovnik the Old city of Dubrovnik.

Meet your local guide and enjoy a guided tour of Dubrovnik Although severely damaged by an earthquake in 1667, Dubrovnik managed to preserve its beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains. Damaged again in the 1990s by armed conflict, it is now the focus of a major restoration program coordinated by UNESCO.

Then you will have free time to explore on your own.

Day 5 Free day in Dubrovnik (Breakfast)

Visit the place by cable car where the Game of Thrones was filmed

Enjoy in the beauty of Adriatic sea and Lapad area with many restaurants, promenade and tourist attractions

Day 6 Dubrovnik – Split (Breakfast)

Morning departure to departure towards Split by highway towards the Adriatic Sea

Once arriving at the hotel located near by the center of old town, check in and refresh

At the hotel reception meet your guide in city of Split located in the warmest

region of the northern Mediterranean coast,

The Split tour's city sights include:

Sightseeing of Split with the old city core that has developed within and around spacious
Diocletian's Palace (part of UNESCO' World Heritage), the most famous and well -preserved ancient monument in Croatia.

A walk through the small picturesque streets paved with stone to the Cathedral of St. Domnius, originally the mausoleum of Diocletian.
A visit to the well - preserved Diocletian's Cellars
Finish the tour on the beautiful waterfront, the symbol of this Mediterranean city, full of charming cafés.
In the evening you are welcome discover on your own the Riviera of Split with its many bars and restaurant by the side of the sea. They have a very rich and full filing nightlife and offers.

Day 7 Daytrip to Plitvice lakes

8.00 am After breakfast departure to Plitvice National Park

Stop on the route for some snack and drinks

11..00 Arrival to Plitvice Lakes

- biggest Croatian tourist attraction, most famous Croatian National Park

Great Waterfall - 78 m high waterfall, the largest in Croatia, caused by

flow of the stream Plitvice down the steep cliff, while the other falls from a lake.

Kozjak - largest and deepest lake on Plitvice National Park.

USEFUL TIPS Beside camera here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the best of all: Sportswear, closed comfortable shoes, some snack and water

17.00 Back at the hotel

20.30 overnight at your hotel in Split.

Day 8 Daytrip to Zadar + Sibenik + Trogir (Breakfast)

9 am After breakfast depart towards Medjugorje

10.30 Discover this beautiful town of Zadar on your own

Zadar - 3000 years of rich history !

The city center and old town is located on a peninsula, with a lot of historic and cultural sights. Among Zadar's biggest attractions are the sea organ and the old gate. The walk along the promenade in Zadar is a lovely experience with a novel surprise at the southern end - a sea organ and solar light show (the later only at night). Continue to An old gate that gets you to a modern life in an old atmosphere... Beautiful and worth visiting.

15.00 Contiune to Sibenik

16.00 Arrive in Sibenik cutest town by the Adriatic sea

18.00 Continue to Trogir (Arrival at the historic old town and discover its beauty monuments and harbor)

19.30 Return to Split , 20.00 Arrive and overnight at the hotel in Split

Day 9 Split (Free & Easy), (Breakfast)

12.00 Departure to the airport for your flight back home
